I'm at work and things are slow. I've done all the intakes. It's raining out - it's actually really pretty with the pink flowery trees as a backdrop. I like everyone I work with. I had a confusing case this morning but people helped me out with it. I'm listening to the radio at mtv.com - I had no idea they had such a cool hip-hop station.

I can't believe an oldies-loving person like me has grown such an affinity for hip-hop, but I really like a lot of it. I hate current stuff on kroq, so it's my only alternative.

So I got my staff card and stuff today. It's wild - I'm actually staff here! only for four weeks, but it's a happy thing. I can't wait til I find out about the temp job after this. I need to start making my bar study tape but I haven't had the energy.

My diet is going really well except for my damn late night sugar craving. I need to buy diabetes snacks for it. Anyway, I'm missing my hubby and wish I were home snuggling with him :)
